Freeway Shooter Targets Commuters in Inland Empire Print E-mail
Written by Administrator

California Highway Patrol is warning motorists about a freeway shooter on Inland Empire Freeways. Around 30 vehicles have had their back windshield shattered in recent weeks by what appears to be a pellet or BB gun. No one has seen the shooter and there is no obvious pattern so CHP has no nothing to go on.  The shootings do seem to occur in the same three stretches of freeway:

Interstate 15 in Cajon Pass.

Interstate 10 between the freeway interchanges in Colton and Ontario.

I-215 between the freeway interchanges in Colton and Riverside.

Anyone with information on the freeway shootings is asked to call the CHP's Inland Communication Center at 909-388-8000.
